The New England Carousel Museum will be in carnival mode during it’s 24rd Anniversary Mardi Gras celebration on Saturday, March 1 from 7 to 11 p.m. The Louisiana-styled evening features dancing to the music of the acclaimed Billy Cofrances Jazz Quartet. Along with a silent auction, there will be wine and bourbon tastings, BYOB, and food a plenty. “This party always helps pull people out of the winter doldrums.” said Louise DeMars, the museum’s executive director, via a press release. Attendees are encouraged to wear a mask or come in full costume The evening festivities culminate in the crowning of a king and queen of the ball. Tickets are on sale at the Carousel Museum.
