Obituaries: Elna P. Lynch

Elna “Ellie” P. (Potz) Lynch, 93, of Wolcott, widow of Clarence S. Lynch, passed away on Saturday March 5, 2016, at her home surrounded by her loving children.  Ellie was born in Bristol on December 6, 1922 and was a daughter of the late Emil and Emily (Manke) Potz.  She was a longtime Wolcott resident and she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, refurbishing furniture and most of all spending her time playing with her grandchildren and great-grandson.  Ellie is survived by her daughter: Lori J. Lynch; her son: Steven L. Lynch, both of Wolcott; two grandsons: Eric and Jennifer Lynch and Adam and Alexandra Lynch; her great-grandchildren: Aidan Lynch and Bridget Graham; and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her 8 siblings.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday (March 10, 2016) 11 AM at the Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol.  Burial will follow in West Cemetery, Bristol.  Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday between 10 and 11 AM.  Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.  Please visit Ellie’s  memorial website at www.FUNKFUNERALHOME.com
