Imagine Nation, A Museum Early Learning Center hosted the 14th Connecticut Odor-Eaters Rotten Sneaker Contest on Saturday, Jan. 9 at Imagine Nation in Bristol. Youths ages 5 to 15 participated in the contest. Contestants took to the runway to show off their smelly sneakers to a team of Odorologists who searched for the most worn out and smelliest pair of sneakers.
Parker Hambridge won this regional contest receiving Odor-Eaters Products, $200.00, and the Golden Sneaker Award. He also won an all-expense paid trip for him and one parent/guardian to Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! In Times Square to compete in the 41st annual National Odor-Eaters Rotten Sneaker Contest on March 8.
Alex will be competing against five other regional winners from all across the United States. The national winner will receive $2,500 and an additional two-night stay in New York City, tickets to the Broadway Show “The Lion King,” the Golden Sneaker award, a trophy, and a supply of Odor-Eaters products.
