Before a packed house, the annual Trashion Fashion Show took over the Hartford City Hall on Saturday night. After weeks of preparation, the designers and artists unveiled their fashionable creations crafted out of clean trash. There was a definite Southington, Bristol presence at the event as several local hair and make up artists worked behind the scenes at the event. And Rachel DeCavage, a Southington resident, was active with prepping her own fashion designs as well as staging a series of installations that encouraged and educated visitors to the event to be more environmentally conscious. Here is what guests at the packed event saw walking down the runway. PHOTOS by MIKE CHAIKEN
