CT-centric talent competition to launch on web

Connecticut  now has its own online version of those popular TV talent  competition shows. Launching April 1, 2014,  StarOnTheWeb.com offers talented Connecticut residents of all ages an exclusive  opportunity to not only “get discovered,” but to also win great prizes, have a  chance to perform live, and receive the grand prize of a one-year talent  management contract with a value of up to $10,000 or more (provided by  promotional sponsor ArMuEnt, a talent management division of Digimed Group in  Darien, Conn.), explained a press release from StarOnTheWeb.com. Connecticut residents only can upload  as many 90-second performance videos as they wish in the monthly competition  categories of Vocalists, Musicians, and Comedians. A nationwide and worldwide  audience will vote for the monthly winners. Video upload credits are just $1  each, with discount packages  available, reported the release. Celebrity talent judges will then  choose a quarterly finalist in each category, from the three monthly winners for  that quarter. All quarterly finalists will compete in a live performance  semifinals and finals show at Comix at Foxwoods Resort Casino in January 2015.  The plan is to broadcast the finals show as a live Webcast.
