At a recent St. Matthews v. St. Joseph basketball game, hosted by St. Joseph School at Chapter 126, a police appreciation night was held. The Bristol Police Department’s honor guard participated in the start of the game with Luke Hines playing the national anthem. St Joseph Varsity boys won a tightly contested game 59-52. The rivalry for the two schools goes back.
