The Bristol Water Department has a water main break on Jerome Ave in the area of BARC. The following streets may be affected, fr…om Coolidge to Mix St. Crews are on site and will need to shut water off at 12:30 for several hours to make the necessary repairs.
Water customers in the surrounding area may be affected.
The repairs may take up to 4 hours to complete. Crews will remain on site until service has been restored to all customers. Once service has been restored, customers may experience discolored water. If you experience discolored water, please run a cold water faucet until the discoloration clears. We recommend that you do not do laundry until the water is clear.
