The summer is not quite over. Model Samantha Anderson– Miss Mum City’s Outstanding Teen and first runner-up at Miss Connecticut’s Outstanding Teen– is photographed on the grounds of the Bristol Historical Society, 98 Summer St., Bristol.The building is the original Bristol High School. The Historical Society has been offering plenty of events this summer for visitors. Next Friday and Saturday, the society hosts “Hollywood at the Bijou,” a movie series featuring classic films. Aug. 21 at 7 p.m. and Aug. 22 at 1 and 7 p.m., the series will screen ‘The Bride of Frankenstein.’ Also this month, on Aug. 30, the society is offering “A Trolley Tour of Historic Federal Hill.” The trolley will leave from the First Congregational Church on Maple Avenue in Bristol at 1, 2:15, and 3:30 p.m. For more information, go to BristolHistoricalSociety.org
