SUMMER PHOTOGRAPHY CLASSES. 10 to 11:30 a.m. For students in grades 7 to 12. Taught by Judy Humphrey, a retired photojournalist and publicist. Classes include an introduction to photography, three field trips to nearby towns for photo shoots, and a class on naming, matting, and framing photos. The photographs will be displayed at the New Britain Museum of American Art over the weekend of Aug. 21 with an opening reception on Thrusday, Aug. 20. Limited to 20 students. Students may use any digital camera or smart phone for class. Limited number of digital cameras available for students who don’t have one. Registration is open.
