The Central Connecticut Chambers of Commerce will host two debates, one among Republican, Democrat and unaffiliated candidates for the Bristol City Council and one for the mayoral candidates. All Bristol taxpayers and voters are invited to attend. The mayoral debate will be held on Monday, Oct. 14 at 7 p.m. at Saint Paul Catholic High School auditorium, 1001 Stafford Ave., Bristol. Democratic candidate Chris Wilson and Republican candidate Ken Cockayne will both participate in the debate. Well-known veteran political reporter Tom Monahan, formerly from NBC30, will be the moderator for the event. The City Council debate will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 16 at 7 p.m. at City Hall, 111 North Main St., Bristol, Council Chambers, 1st Floor. All of this year’s candidates have been invited to participate in the debate. For Council District 1: Thomas Hick, Eric L. Carlson, Calvin Brown, and Stephen Jeffries. For Council District 2: Richard J. Miecznikowski, Henri Martin, Bob Vojtek, Allen Marko, and Frank Kramer. For Council District 3: Derek A.
