Business networking group to hold open house, food drive

The local business owners and entrepreneurs who make up the Building Alliances BNI chapter in Farmington, are kicking off their Thanksgiving Food Drive on Oct. 29 and hosting an open house Visitors Day. The Food Drive will benefit the Farmington Food Pantry and the Bristol CFC-Storehouse. The Kickoff and Open House will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2014 at 7 a.m. at Village Gate of Farmington, 88 Scott Swamp Rd. (Route 6). Food donations will be accepted at Village Gate through Wednesday, Nov. 19.

BNI is an international networking organization specializing in business referrals among its members. I

The Building Alliances chapter is looking to not only grow their membership but also to expand its network by meeting new local business owners and entrepreneurs. The featured speaker will be Keller Williams real estate agent, Chloe White, who will talk about BNI’s impact on her own business as well as the amazing power of intention and goal setting.
